Femme Forward: Celebrating Women

Join us in breaking the silence around women’s health issues, focusing on perimenopause and menopause, and fostering a supportive community.

Our Journey Begins

What started as a conversation between Jennifer Olfert and Melissa Deitz became the seed for something bigger — and far overdue.

Jennifer had an idea. One that centered around the “M” effect — the silence, the stigma, and the overwhelming lack of support surrounding menopause and midlife women’s health. She brought that idea to Melissa and Robert, and together, over coffee and candid truth-telling, FEMME Forward was born.

With a shared vision to empower, educate, and elevate women across Southeast Saskatchewan, this summit became more than an event. It became a call to action — to break taboos, build community, and ensure that no woman walks through midlife alone or uninformed.

The Importance of Addressing Women's Health Issues

Women’s health, particularly concerning perimenopause and menopause, has long been shrouded in silence and stigma. At Femme Forward, we believe it’s time to change that narrative. These natural life stages, affecting millions of women, deserve open discussion and comprehensive understanding. By addressing these topics head-on, we empower women with the knowledge and tools they need to navigate this transformative period with confidence and clarity.

Our summit is dedicated to breaking the taboos and providing a platform for education and support. We aim to foster a community where women can share their experiences, learn from experts, and find solace in knowing they are not alone. By bringing these issues to the forefront, we hope to inspire change in how women’s health is perceived and treated, ensuring that every woman receives the care and attention she deserves.
